Biography
Astraline is a modern metalcore band from northern Italy: Simone Maggi (vocals), Diego Cavallotti and Luca Isgrò (guitars), Nicholas Denny (bass) and Simone Crimi (drums), from the Milan area and Fidenza. Their songs set big, melodic choruses against heavy riffs and breakdowns, with electronic textures running underneath: the weight of metalcore, written to be sung back.
The band debuted in October 2022 with “Deadline”, a single that paired memorable choruses with relentless riffs and went straight into Spotify’s All New Metal playlist on release. Three singles followed in 2023, “Sickness”, “Two Sides” and “Vicious Cycles”, and three more in 2024, “Ghost In The Shell”, “Frostbite” and “Quiet Within”. “Quiet Within” also came with an official live video.
Astraline has shared the stage with two Swedish acts: Dead By April, at Slaughter Club near Milan in 2023, and Thrown, at Milan’s Legend Club in 2024. In January 2025 the band closed Loud For Change at Legend Club, a benefit night whose proceeds went to Il Villaggio della Gioia, which supports orphaned and street children in Tanzania.
Beyond the music, the band builds everything around the same idea, from artwork and merchandise to the live show: metalcore that is modern, heavy and emotionally direct. Astraline is now working on new music.
